Founded in 1987, Early Identification Program celebrates 30 Years of Inspiring Excellence Through Education in 2017. EIP has helped more than 1,600 students gain access to higher education and educational resources. It is our EIP Alumni who make our history so special, and the promise of our incumbent EIP Students makes our future so bright. EIP invites ALL of its alumni back to George Mason University for Alumni Weekend to celebrate the legacy of the program.
The 2016 GMU graduation gown of EIP Alumni and Program Coordinator, Mirella Saldaña Torres, is on display at the Anacostia Community Museum. Check out the Washington Post article about her and several other community members here.
