Summer Academy is a mandatory 3-week event for all EIP students and takes place for 3 weeks starting the Monday after July 4th. The goal is to expose students to key knowledge in core academic areas and prepare students prior to returning to school in the fall. There are only 15 days of instruction, so every day is important.

Excuses and Absences
Excuses will be reviewed and decided upon on a case-by-case basis. After two unexcused absences, the student will be dismissed from the program. Excused absences will only be granted with documentation. EIP will consider exceptions beyond the two days on a case-by-case basis if there is documentation of family emergency or personal illness.
