Rhina Alvarado serves as the Associate Director for the Early Identification Program and has been with the program since 2008 in multiple roles serving first gen students ranging from students in middle school, high school, and undergraduate levels. Rhina experienced first-hand the benefits and success of being an EIP alumna. Rhina is dedicated to working with first gen student populations, explore multicultural education issues, and fostering student success around college and career readiness for middle, high school, and undergraduate college students. Rhina enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and spoiling her nephews and gray tabby cat.
