EIP Alumni and recipient of the EIP 4 year scholarship, Rhina Alvarado, earned her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Biology and English at George Mason University. She is the Program Coordinator of George Mason University’s college access program, Early Identification Program. She develops program curriculum and trains EIP mentors with the aim to provide a student-centered approach to meet students’ academic needs as well as personal and developmental support. Rhina is an educator with content knowledge around teaching and learning theory within a secondary education context; with a passion to provide EIP students academic support in the STEM fields.
