AMP - Academic Mentors for Fall 2019 Semester - Now Hiring

AMP Mentor Job Description:

  • Provide academic assistance to middle and high school students in all subjects and levels of English, Math, Science, and History
  • Actively monitor students’ academic grades/progress via weekly check in meetings
  • Serve as a positive and supportive role model
  • Commit to being present and passionate about making a difference in our students
  • Facilitate and lead interactive workshops and discussions with students focusing on personal and academic success
  • Be punctual to AMP sites, which are held at designated public schools or a Mason campus location on a weekly basis, unless otherwise stated
  • Manage administrative tasks such as handling paperwork, tracking attendance, calling students, and communicating with parents regarding the academic mentoring session on a regular basis

Power Aid - STEM+H Power Aid Mentors for 2018-2019 - Positions Filled

STEM+H Power Aid is a five-session course offered on Saturdays throughout the academic year. It is designed to help students strengthen and understand mathematical and scientific concepts in the courses they are enrolled in their base school.

Position description:

  • Serve as a positive and supportive role model
