AMP Mentor Job Description: Provide academic assistance to middle and high school students in all subjects and levels of English, Math, Science, and History; and actively monitor students’ academic grades/progress.

Returning AMP Mentors who have served as mentor in previous semesters and have satisfied the requirement to be re-hired may complete the Returning Mentor application.

AMP - Student Success Coach Fall 2018 Semester - Coming Soon

Student Success Coach Job Description: Provide individual support to program participants to guide and facilitate student growth and development. Student Outreach works to connect with students through one-on-one sessions that include school visitations via the Academic Mentoring Program (AMP).

Power Aid - STEM-H Power Aid Mentors for 2018-2019 - Coming Soon

STEM-H Power Aid is a five-session course offered on Saturdays throughout the academic year. It is designed to help students strengthen and understand mathematical and scientific concepts in the courses they are enrolled in their base school.

Position description:

  • Provide academic assistance to middle and high school students
  • Knowledge in Math, Science and additional content areas
  • Serve as a positive and supportive role model
  • Commit to being present and passionate to make a difference
  • Responsible and excellent time management skills
  • Manage tasks such as handling paperwork and tracking attendance
  • Collaborate with teachers for a positive learning environment
