The Academic Mentoring Program (AMP) is a cornerstone of our school-year initiatives, offering students weekly grade-specific sessions to explore college and career pathways while receiving ongoing academic and socio-emotional support. AMP includes mentoring from near-peer mentors, comprised of college-age and upperclassmen high-ability high school students.
Recognizing the transformative impact of investing in first-generation college-bound students, AMP is designed to empower students to believe in their potential and navigate the challenges of high school, college prep, and college transitions. With the support of AMP, students develop the internal and interpersonal skills needed for success, benefiting not only themselves but also their families, communities, and society at large
